After 4 years of R&R and a few cruise nights....

We decided to make some changes to the back yard. You see, we had this idea that a natural look would be quite pleasing and low maintenance. We quickly realized that "natural" only looks good from a great distance... you know like when you are driving at 65+ MPH on the freeway and see the natural beauty of the surrounding hills. Up close in a small yard it just looks like weeds!

Here's how it looked before:

We hired a professional for help, here is what we have now :)

I think Rufus (the dog) approves.

Upcoming projects:

-2012 I plan to clean the garage.
-2014 file all the stray papers in my office.
-2016 I'm not sure, but something might need to be done by then.

See you in a few years! thanks for dropping by
~Jay

I think maybe your wife made a few suggestions along the way?

I think that the revival of your blog is one of the signs of the apocalypse.

Welcome back.

Your yard is perfect except for one thing .... It needs more bandwidth .... bad! And some more cowbell wouldn't hurt either.
